In all seriousness, I am sure there are computer geeks here who can help you better than I can. I got nothing myself.

Well, Min suggested rebooting and I was thinking in terms of steel toes.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

He meant Office 2013 but if he wrote the post through a phone, it's possible the autocorrect crap has kicked in and changed it. When I try to write an SMS in my language but with latin characters, that autocorrect crap keeps changing the words I type.

Mine won't keep any date after 12-31-2017 thanks to the BIOS on the motherboard and it causes all kinds of wierd, seemingly unrelated errors. Now I have to decide if its worth it to flash the BIOS, keep a third party time syncing program running in the background or pony up (after finding) the money for a new motherboard, RAM, processor and video card.

What antique are you running? You can try flashing the BIOS but if there's no newer version, you have only one option - buy a newer MB.

You can turn Autocorrect off. I did it on my phone last Fall. You lose the smell checker.

I think Rhoda is a she... but thanks!
Autocorrect gripes.... I write *people*, it thinks I mean *peyote*. I Write *in*, it thinks I mean *I*... not to mention the confusion that comes out of using a dual-language swiping keyboard.

Buying is easier said than done sometimes. There is a more recent version of the BIOS available, I've even downloaded it already, but I'm hesitant to flash it without confirmation that it will actually address the issue.

I can't turn it off but at least it can learn. For instance, if I type "god" with small letters, AC (autocorrect) changes it to "God". This is where I discovered it can learn - when it changes the word to first capital letter, I mark the word and using the shift function I change it to "god" again. The next time I type "god" AC doesn't change it. But that's Microsoft's AC. Android's AC is a load of crap which can't learn and always does whatever it wants.

See if you can find a changelog about the new version and check whether it mentions your problem. If it doesn't, most probably it won't fix it. If you can tell me the brand and the model of your motherboard, I might be able to help you with the date problem.

Oh, good, so it wasn't just me. I was about to question myself there for a sec.

Look at it in document view.
