Greetings from Oklahoma!

Hello all:
First-time user here, long-time atheist. I was raised Catholic, but by age 11 or 12 I started to realize I was being fed empty stories, and that I should just "give my heart" to Jesus. It was at that point I realized I wanted out. That's hard to do in Oklahoma. Walk blindfolded in Tulsa (where I live) and you'll run into either a church, or a QuikTrip. I don't have anyone around that understands why I believe what I believe. My boyfriend is spiritual, and comes from a loosely Baptist family. So despite the fact that we are truly in love, there's that ignored part that contains all of the of the things we both want to say, but, don't. I desperately want to talk with other atheists here so that I may learn more about myself, and about my partner.
