It's easily fathomable. They fear even the threat of contradiction.

I don't.

Yes you do, otherwise you would provide an answer and offer it for scrutiny:

This one is open to all worshipers of the god that goes under the aliases of Allah/Jehova/Yahweh and whatever else. Basically any religion which has at its core the first 5 books of the bible. The Abrahamic ones.

Let us all assume that "God" appeared and revealed himself to everyone. Said something like, ok, i'm not so fussed over the exact religious books you followed, all you believers got bits and pieces wrong, but you all get into heaven. Any atheists who also worship me in one of the proscribed ways can also get into heaven. Those who don't go to hell... with the fire and the torture and the devils with pointy sticks etc.

Scientists investigate, chat with "God", etc and even though the most skeptical doubt whether this "God" is of supernatural or divine origin, they all agree that it is a superior being who, when cross examined came up with convincing proof that he indeed was responsible for the creation of life and possibly the entire universe.

Now, theists, tell us why we should bend over and take it up the ass from God? Because, from my perspective, i'd still be asking God for Satan's phone number.

Oh, and lets have a poll for the non-theists (deists, pagans etc are included as non-theists)... theists please refrain from voting... we know you would love to suck God's enormously divine member.

How about answering the question put to you.

Not with a notional non-contingent truth. However, no truth actually taken to be non-contingent is fundamentally non-contigent upon the mind and/or physical things because:

1. It is only conceived of by the mind.

2. It would not continue to exist in the mind as a non-contingent truth if it, though whatever operation the mind deem appropriate to use to establish its relevence and validity, its results in something in a conclusion that is contradicted by physical things.
