CNN: No one cares about Russia
RE: CNN: No one cares about Russia
Hey, that was an option, wasn't it?  Anybody who excuses their own excusing the emperor and his grifty band of traitors by reference to hitlery and the imaginary conspiracies against him are either lying to us, or themselves.

They -wanted- the shit sandwich, and they still want it so bad they're willing to pay anything for it. What I don;t get, is this. If trump did get impeached...they;d still get their shit sandwich. It;s not like it defaults to hitlery.

Say it with me conservatives. President Mike Pence. Doesn;t that sound so much better? Same shit sandwich, better advertising. You get to be a patriot and a conservative all at once for a change, don;t miss the opportunity! Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The first time I read that you refused to vote, it bugged the shit out of me. I guess it still does, in a way -- but I can see your logic. I just think that the voting pool could use a bump in the average IQ ... we need all the smart voters we can get nowadays.

Meh, I live in a blue bubble deep in the red. My vote wouldn't have counted for shit. Lex and Louis, the two urban (and wealth) centers in KY...the reason that anyone in this state has anything and the place from which everything that everyone else depends on flows.......both went blue, like they do..but their votes didn't count for shit either.

I just don't have it in me to pretend otherwise. I have a giant chub for the US of A..not for a political party. Put my name down, pull a lever...for what? The dems are fucking up anything they can fuck up, it seems..the r's have turned into a giant glowing ball of frothing hatred, and the independents might have good ideas..except they can't remember them on account of having smoked themselves retarded.

Would voting for the dems make the act right? Obviously not. Hell, if they won, would that prevent the r's from flogging the browns in the public square? LOLNO. The independents couldn't even have gotten me my weed because the highway patrol here will never..let...that..happen.

It's busted, and it will continue to be busted as long as we continue to be complicit. Consider my not voting a protest vote on behalf of america, since nobody seems to be interested in her anymore. Raising the IQ pool of voters (and..cmon...this is me we're talking about here, I;m two hairs shy of a chimp on a good day) won;t change any of that. Very smart people are he ones very smartly fucking america.
(lol, nvm...they do)

I hear you, I live in a blue enclave as well. That's why I voted 3rd-party -- knowing ole Gary would never be taking bonghits in the Oval Office made it easy for me to make my dissent with the current major optionsmarked down as one number.

Though, to be fair, Gary Johnson getting baked and making decisions can't be any worse than what's going on right now ...

I expected the next four years to be embarrassing either way, but stymied in every direction and over quickly.  Hillary would have had the dipshits in control right now ratfucking her every move.  I didn't expect them to let Trump ruin their own brand..either.

Whatever confidence there was left in the american process..not the american people or their politicians...that's not there in me right now.  We can;t even get people to agree that the russians fucking with us was a bad thing.  Maybe there is no more america, at least not my america.  For all I know it drifted off to the afterlife while I was away and I've been dreaming about ghosts ever since I came back.

To be clear, a phishing scheme simply covers the first stages of the breach, i.e. how they gained access.

When you gain access to a computer network, everything isn't just accessible and ready for stealing. There are multiple layers of security, this ensures that someone can't just get employed at a bank for example, and access the emails of the CEO.

There really isn't a term "forcible hacking" in the security industry, but what I've taken that to mean is the attacker actively exploiting some system, rather than relying on an employee making a mistake.

The DNC hack employed both. There were likely two phishing schemes, one which sent malicious software via email, in the hopes that a user would run the file, and the other was likely a fake mail website where the hackers would try and trick users into entering their credentials. Both appear to have worked.

However while these attacks would have retrieved a small subset of the emails (as they were limited to the users who were compromised), the attack went further. The malicious software that was installed on users machines included remote access tools, which effectively "phone home" to the hacker and allow them to remotely control the computer they are installed on. From there they were able to explore the rest of the network, and exploit the DNC servers, which contained far more information than any single user's computer. This part of the attack, with an actual hacker in control, would be the "forcible" hacking part that you speak of.

If you want a more general example, I would say that actively trying to guess a person's email password is more "forcible", and that's the same kind of hack that happened to Sarah Palin. With Hillary Clinton's email server, there were actual vulnerabilities on the server itself, and since the server was exposed to the Internet, hackers could connect to it, exploit the vulnerability, and gain access that way.

Interesting. Good stuff. Gives a bit more insight into what happened.

I would prefer Trump over Pence. At least Trump is incompetent enough that he can't get all of his awful bills passed through his own government.

Lol, 100% confirmed dnc is full of dumb old people who don't know how to use a computer. Totally amateur hour to fall for something like that. Also because they are politicians their security firm is probably some friend of someone, and obviously not the most qualified people for the job.
