Yeah, well they can kinda do that since they are the majority. We can give them all the facts and evidence and it wont mean a fucking thing because they don't think like us. Maybe a new word, without that stigma would cause some people to have a second thought about their faith.

Maybe. I don't know, I'm not married to the idea.

Sorry, but they can TRY. Doesn't mean we have to follow meekly along.

None of whatsoever.
Atheism is based on guessing and guessing alone.
There is no evidence in all statements that atheists bring forward.

You're right but that is hardly our fault.  We answer "no" to the "do you believe in God" question, even though "God" is never defined.  So when I say the whole idea seems absurd on the face of it, that's really all I have.  Don't have a clue what this God thing is you guys seem so excited about.  But while we're waiting for that term to make sense I'm just going to leave it in the "makes no sense" basket, and no, I definitely don't believe in shit that makes no sense.

All 100% guessing that by the way also goes against the physical science that atheists love to rely to so much.

To put it in few words........A TOTAL DISASTER FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END.  Banging Head On Desk

Everything needs a creator?  Who creates the creators?  Is it creators all the way down then?  Guess you never thought about that, did you mate?

Oh my, and you even know what happens to your consciousness when you die.  Definitely ahead of me there, mate.  From all appearances death is the end of consciousness, leastwise no dead person has ever given me reason to think otherwise.  I'll just go on naively assuming consciousness goes off the air when the brain gets unplugged because I'm not impressed with the fruits of intuitional science.

I wonder why people who disagree with you seem to you to be a total disaster?  I don't think you're a disaster, just a garden variety nut job.

1) I certainly do not know how God started to exist or whether He always exist.
My guessing is that He always exist because the time come into existence only when the creator generate life but again who cares.
All that will become more and more clear as my consciousness get a parallelism with God consciousness and the two will become one.

Why a child would worry about what a professional knows.
As the time goes he will but at the meantime he should concentrate to go ahead in his-her studies.

2) The consciousness is made of energy and energy is made of consciousness.
The two are ike the two side of the same page so if energy is behind destruction also consciousness is.
That is why I know that.
Beside NDEs confirm that so there is no doubts in my mind that we never die.  Lightbulb

The lacks of doubts in your mind isn't much of a selling point for the rest of us. Probably shouldn't be for you either. Maybe your natural skepticism is deficient?

You can spend your whole life running if you want, but being dead is the same as not being born yet. Nothing is going to change that. You will be gone, forever. Enjoy what little time you have!

Unfortunately your certainties come from guessing and guessing alone while mine are based on facts.

Guess who is correct?

(good guessing this time eh)  I'm all ears!

Okay Little Rik.

Let me detach myself from reality and assume that you are right. I can live forever, Hooray.

Can I just get on with this current life uninterrupted or are there catches?
What do I need to do to ensure I will never die?
Who do I have to worship?
What can I eat?
Who can I shag?
Do I have to give up alcohol?

Guide me Rik, help me live forever.

You will not have a body so no material food, drinks, drugs or sex.
But why would you want the crumbs when you can have the whole cake?

Quote:What do I need to do to ensure I will never die?

Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
It come automatically.
The only thing you should really do is to speed up the time so you will be free from the chains of physicality ASAP.

Quote:Who do I have to worship?

None externally because God is within.
All you have to do is to realize that you are God.
As far as to who you should respect all the time until you reach that stage is your spiritual teacher.

Answered above.

Quote:Guide me Rik, help me live forever.

I pretend that you are not asking this under the alcohol fumes.

Okay thanks Rik.

Are we all God then? Or is it just me? I mean, I'm really flattered and everything but I don't think I've got time to fit in being God. I work full time for a start.

So really, LR, why don't you kill yourself and eat the cake at celestial bakery? Seems you're not that convinced that there is life after death after all.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

How can you give the cake to your son if he kill himself?  Banging Head On Desk

He will have to be reincarnated and start all over again. Lightbulb

I guess you never thought about that mate, did you?  I'm all ears!

Take your time Cod.  Popcorn
The God that is within is not in the hurry.
If you like to do what you do by all means keep on doing that.
However one day in this or in some future lives you will ask yourself............WHAT ON EARTH I AM DOING?.........I AM NOT GETTING ANYWHERE............ Banging Head On Desk

After this you will change course and start doing something to get on the correct track.

We all have been through that Cod.
You are not the first or the last.  Lightbulb
