A problem with the word "atheist"
|
Theists make such a big deal about not believing in all Gods but one vs not believing in any at all. One might think they'd be a tad more enlightened about disbelieving God claims.
Makes a big diffy poo when it's the one they've homed in on though. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

They boldly asserted their existence and their rights. We should be doing exactly the same thing.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I don't subscribe to the 'they are atheists to every other god' claim mind, i think the mindset is different, and rather abuses the meaning of atheist.

As a child I heard talk of those Satan worshipping child sacrificing atheists. Yea, they thought we would waste a delicious baby as a sacrifice to Satan. Ha

No, you are not paranoid. Unfortunately there are a lot of fundamentalists that think in that way. However a lot of theists (especially non religious theists) like me think that atheists will wake up one day and they will reject their fantasy that God doesn't exist so they too will merge into the ocean of bliss.
