The thing that keeps me giggling about gods, is that we're constantly told to search for them in magic books. May as well tell me to search for gold in my crockpot.

If you can spot why this is wrong, you should be able to understand why your "argument" is wrong. No one -has- to believe in love. We can experience it. But you're trying to tell us about gods..not love, remember?

Got plenty of love going right now, thanks anyway. I also have faith in unjustifiable things, just not in absurd things.

Still failing, and still for the same reason. If you want to tell me about love...fine...but you'll never be an authority on what I should love.

That is one reason why I think Atheism is a dishonest approach to the word god especially how traditionally spoken about by humans.
You don't believe in a supernatural god true, but you do believe in gods then. Humans are destined to be either monotheistic or polytheistic, they can't function without valuing anything, even it's just valuing pleasure and pain, something is valued. |
