The memo's out

This is not the investigation of a crime to determine who was responsible. This is an investigation of a person to determine what unknown crime he might have committed. Usually there is a crime before a criminal investigation. What crime exactly was committed? Collusion is not a crime. This is not a criminal investigation. It is a counter-intelligence operation, one apparently funded by and sourced from an opposing political party during an election. And none of that bothers you?

The FBI have said this memo leaves out important context, i.e. possibly other pieces of evidence that were used for a FISA warrant.

What's more troubling is the Republicans manipulating the facts, refusing to release the Democratic memo, ignoring the advice of the FBI and Justice Department regarding this. They are trying to sell a fake narrative, plain and simple. The truth I imagine will be must less controversial.

Do you have any evidence that this single FISA warrant started the whole Russian investigation?
The FISA warrant was obtained using the unverified Steele Dossier as its basis. Parts of it corroborated? Not good enough. Mixing lies with a few truths isn't good enough. It's still deception. What other facts are you aware of that have been omitted? Also, what national security elements were in the memo that the FBI and the DOJ were concerned about? The Democrats are only opposing this because they want to keep the Russia witch Hunt investigation front and center through to the mid terms. They're not interested in justice or the truth.
As far as the truth being less controversial, we'll see in the coming days.

And the FISA court forced 45 to call Mexicans rapists? The FISA court forced Trump to imply Obama was a secret Muslim? The FISA Court forced Trump to REPEATEDLY deny what 17 agencies agreed on, that Russia was interfering? The FISA court forced him to shit on McCain and Khan?

Here is the problem with your bullshit logic.

EVEN IF, I agreed, the part you KEEP missing is his BEHAVIOR during his run and while in office is STILL divisive and counter productive to neutrality. WHEN you use the political tactics of shitting on any questioning to your position, you undermine the ability of the public trust.

Trump has shit on the public trust. Skipping his appeal to to asshole bigots his constant and repeated assaults on intel and the free press are DANGEROUS.

Trump is about Trump, not truth. Trump is about ego and power, not Truth.

Let me ask you this..as a trump supporter and a republican..presumably a patriot...don;t you think it would concern you if you noticed that the future president of the united states had suddenly found himself surrounded by agents of a hostile foreign power? It's not as if the DOJ and FBI haven't explained, in detail, the process required to get one of these warrants.

What if that judge was misled? What if those obtaining the warrant didn't tell the judge that the basis for their evidence came from an unverified dossier that was paid for by the DNC and was validated by a Yahoo news story that was planted by the author himself, Richard Steele. Yeah, the FBI and the DOJ explained the process for getting a FISA warrant. But, evidently, the FBI and the DOJ didn't follow the process when they got it

Uh huh.........and here I thought that the party of law and order had abandoned that trial bubble when it flopped months ago on faux?

Speaking of....how is the party of law and order ever going to sell itse;lf as the party of law and order after having attacked the apparatus of law and order as soon as they found themselves on the wrong side of law and order?

Do they really think that the demographic who wants to build a wall is enough to retain their already minority control of government?  It seems..to me, like a serious mistake.

RE: The memo's out
Anyone acting like this isn't a big deal is being silly, because it's not a partisan problem.

How to deal with the new reality that the entities we rely on to be objective are filled with people who are often just as biased as anyone else has to be addressed. The people at the FBI aren't robots. Maybe they aren't "Brian" levels of wacky, but I'm sure there are plenty of them that are slanted more than the calmer voices on these forums.

And it makes people gullible. Gullible in jobs where it is essential to not get duped. I'm not sure what the solution is. But the sad reality is that we can't take them at their word.
