Both bands were good, but overall I think The Beatles were more impressive.

Have to say though when I read an excerpt of Keith Richard's book wherein he mentions John Lennon, he described him as rather 'silly.' I got it and blamed Yoko! Tongue

Both bands had songs that I really loved and still do.

I've always preferred the Beatles. Although I don't mind the Stones and admired their anti-hero image when I was 17,I never quite got them.
