It's a bit of an old thread, but i've recently been listening to a lot of the Beatles as well as the Rolling Stones. They are both great, but the Beatles are what I have went out and bought a bunch of CDs from. That speaks for itself I think.

Rolling Stones or Beatles

A child of the 60's, (16 in 1963) I've always liked apples AND oranges.
However, I do not own any Stones music. Have lot of Beatles stuff,most of which bores me rigid today,especially the early stuff,(before 'Rubber Soul') which was crap when it was released,and has not improved with age. We thought it was great at the time as it was a much better class of crap than just about anything else around,which was actually played on radio here. |
