Vorlon's citation on mental health
#41
RE: Vorlon's citation on mental health
After all your blathering about "science," I challenged you to scientific discussion, and you passed.
You have nothing to say.

Not at all surprising.  You atheists talk big but you have very little to back it up.

You're in over your head.  Way over.

Hey Starman, I read in a book somewhere that you should "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Why don't you treat us how you'd like to be treated?

So you atheists CLAIM that there are Christians here. Where are they?
Not one has stuck his head up. You've intimidated them to such an extent that
they are afraid to dissent.

Oh wait, I can already see the very next post.
Yes, they're all so "embarrassed" at what I have to say, they refuse to comment.

Why don't you treat us how you'd like to be treated?

1.  You're trying to change the subject.  You started off with your imperious *science* dissertation, and when
I threw down, you had NOTHING more to say about *science*.  Why is that?

2.  I'm trying to teach you people things about science and your own anger and hostility and vulgarity.
Has anything changed as a result of my posts?  Not remotely.  You don't want to learn.
I hold a mirror up to you, showing you your own ugliness and you foist your ugliness on me, blaming me for it.

If we got off on the wrong foot, let's set it right. How about from this point on, we treat each other as we would want to be treated?

I certainly agree that valid criticism does me a favor. It does you a favor, too, right?

Why don't we have a civil discussion about what constitutes legitimate knowledge. We may disagree, but through civil discussion, we might learn a little bit about the other's perspective.

The subject is: Why are the conclusions of science plausible?

Let me know if you're interested in having this discussion (civilly) and we'll have it.

I sorry but I seemed to have missed the challenge to a discussion. What was it?

Certainly not all of those quotes you posted out of context with no citations, or was that it?

What are your credentials for teaching us about science?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Your better man then i'm am vul this guy is obtuse douche their honestly no way to be civil with him . He whines about any criticism you give and is wholly thinned skinned  . And has a persecution complex a mile wide .

Seems more like your interested in picking a fight

Because you show zero knowledge on the subject . But seem to rather high opinion of your knowledge .

Quote:For the record, I have described many of you accurately - your profanity, your anger, your hatred.
No you have not. You have imposed your own prejudices on us .

Quote:The truth hurts you. You can't stand it. Atheism is a lie and you people are obsessed with lies.
You traffic in them and lambaste en mass anyone who dares to cross swords with you.
The best you can do is proclaim yourselves intellectually superior and huff off, as if victorious.
It never changes.
The lack of self awareness here is stunning

It's also amazing how he confuses science with scientists as if they were holy prophets who's mere quotes should be taken as gospel . In this he confuses religion with science . And the personnel opinion of scientists with truth .
Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

Many atheists are left wing, but many are not. Not only that, the godless left is a totally stupid phrase. Since most left wing people believe in God or the supernatural.

Atheism doesn't promote any sort of form of economics. You know who said that, Milton Friedman.

You ignorant putz.

Agree completely.  Everyone knows it isn't atheism which promotes socialism.  That's Jesus, not us.

:p Jesus was a commie.
