Least favourite characters?

Sooooo many!

Neelix (Voyager). Just so bloody annoying.

Kirk (TOS).

Kira Nerys (DS9): Horrible character at the beginning, but grew up to be likable by the end of the series.

Special mentions:

Pretty much all the Bajoran supporting cast, especially Kai Wynn and the priest guy who became Kira's boyfriend).

Most, not all, of the Ferengi on TNG).

Tasha Yar.

Troi (at the beginning of TNG (grew up to be likable later).

I haven't seen anything Star Trek in a very very long time but I always loved Patrick Stewart and what I labeled him as "The Reading Rainbow Guy" LeVar Burton. I used to play with my step dad's Star Trek toys and I had these head bands that had little lines in them so I would put them over my face and act like Burton. I also loved Data. Don't ask me which series these guys were in cause I have no idea lol

I'll thank you to refer him by his proper name, Der Sheisskopf.

Interestingly, I don't think any of the other shows managed to get science as consistently and as badly wrong as Voyager did.

Worst characters -

Pretty much the entire cast of DS9 with the possible exception of Sisko, Worf, and the Cardassians.

I really really dislike Seven and Chakotay.

Lwaxana Troi should be pushed out the nearest airlock.

I created this thread so fans and casual viewers of the show can share their opinions.

Fandom level: What level of trek fan are you? Answers might be "casual fan" or "the show sucks" etc.

Best Series/Movie: What's your favorite series? Voyager? The Next Generation? Maybe you like one of the movies.

Favorite Captain: self-explanatory

Favorite Character: Try not to pick a captain because there is already a category for that (unless you really like two different captains). And try not to pick Spock. Everybody loves Spock. I'm trying to learn something here.

What Alien Race Would You Be?: What Star Trek race is most similar to your personality? Are you a Klingon warrior? A creepy Talaxian?

Then, if you feel like it, write a  blurb about Star Trek. This could be anything you feel like saying.

Copy/Paste if you want:

Fandom Level: Obsessed

Best Series: DS9

Favorite Captain: Sisko

Favorite Character: Worf

What Alien Race Would You Be?: Vulcan (obviously Tongue )

I've seen every single Star Trek television show (except Discovery and TAS) and every single movie. I started watching syndicated TNG episodes when I was a teenager and loved it. I'm not a huge fan of the Abrams movies. They're okay, but (to me) it's not Trek. One thing that really appeals to me about Trek is Gene Roddenberry's optimistic vision of the future. I hope that as technology advances, humankind will solve the problems of poverty, racism, and war (at least on our own planet).

Fandom level Trekkie

Favorite series
For character development-Deep Space Nine (Worf becomes a total badass )
For social commentary -The Original Series (The Balance Of Terror )
For writing- The Next Generation (Best Of Both Worlds)
For redeeming itself in later seasons - Enterprise (The last two Seasons were awesome)

Favorite Movie
The Wrath of Khan

Favorite Captain
Jean Luc Picard - He's the most  balanced captain

Favorite Characters -Main Cast
Worf- As he gets the most development  of any character
Data - Watching him evolve over TNG was neat
Dax- Too many reasons
Nog - He goes from an annoying punk to an interesting character

Favorite Characters- Recurring
General Martok - Best Klingon ever  . That talk he has with Sisko about marriage was hilarious .
Weyoun - All his incarnations are interesting. Whether he's sampling Pizza . Plotting the genocide of Earth . Or drinking poison . It always ends in death . He's the Kenny of Star Trek .
Shran - He's just an awesome charter

Favorite Character- Villian
The Female Changeling - She's absolutely ruthless

Alien race i would be
Andorian - Blue skin - Awesome looking antenna
Romulan- Best looking ships

After seeing Cathooloo's comments about DS9 characters I was going to mention Martok.

He was a brilliant character (though, if I were him, I would have had Worf killed after becoming Chancellor since Worf does have an interesting habit of killing chancellors or those trying to become chancellor.

Just in case.

Garak, another brilliant character.

Best DS9 episode was The Visitor, followed by (can't remember the name) the episode in which Sisko works with Garak to bring the Romulans into the war, and then Way of the Warrior.

Which Alexander ? Badass time traveller Alexander or the regular series Alexander .

Too defend Neelix (and yes it's hard ) he did have some touching moments with Tuvok

Ezri never got a chance to develop as a character really . They brought her in late in the series due to the fact  Terry Farrell left the show because Rick Berman is a creep.

Yup Garak is the Anti Trek character . And it really works
The epsode your thinking of is "In A Pale Moonlight ." The speech by Sisko in the end is chilling .

Worf's son. I doubt you can come up with a suitable defense for him.

I have to agree about Garak and Martok. Both excellent characters.

The Way of the Warrior is my favorite episode.
