What I noticed when I read that at six this morning was that young Irish people prayed less (by a good bit) than they went to mass. Meaning that they were being forced to go to mass despite their will.

Nothing quicker to turn a person against something than forcing them to participate in it. Well done mammies of Ireland, you're making us atheist one teenager at a time.

Muslims are on the increase, though. Maybe they'll breed their way into being the religious majority.

Jesusism is for stupid old bastards to cling to.  Let it die out with them!

I thought that was an Irish church for a second, then I realised if it were everybody would be stood up at the back fighting for space at the radiators.

Yeah. America is the last great bastion of christianity. Ironic, since it was founded as a secular nation. Good news that religion is falling, though it's a bit weird that islam would be taking its place.
