When was "your" good old days?

I'm struggling to find mine.
Everytime I think of a nice stretch of time in my life, I'm reminded of the bad stuff too which puts a damper on it.
Since we don't live in heaven, let's compromise and pick your good old days which has the highest net sum of happiness.
Describe the good and the bad.
Don't tell us the decade, that's irrelevent, tell us your age group at the time.
Mine was 20-25 years old.
The good
nice hot vroom vroom car, nice new girlfiend, lots of street friends, lots of outings.
Pat Benatar
The bad
still working 7 days a week like a dog for arsehole father
duran duran, flock of seagulls!
C'mon everybody, spill your guts! This is what defines your greatness! lol!

I haven't had mine yet.
I hated being a child, and I JUST became an adult two years ago. It's going to get better from here, I know it. My "good old days" are yet to come.

My entire life has been shitty but if I had to pick times when it wasnt?
24-31. At age 24 I became a mother for the first time. At age 31 I did it again.
And also five years ago when I became a stepmom to my stepsons.

Age 13 to 24. 13 was the year of enlightenment . 24 was the last year of school.

My childhood was pretty nice. I had a lot of friends, and not a lot of responsibility. My relationship with my dad was a bit better. Or at least I didn't notice how screwed up things were. I didn't get bullied every weekday, and schoolwork was simpler. Especially fifth grade, where my teacher loved to take us on class trips, and involve us in a drama club.

The BAD: recently, now

Honestly, things have just been getting better for me since sixteen. Puberty was a real downer, but that's about it.
I had more 'carefree' fun between 17 and 23, when i was in my last years of highschool, went to college and later university. But being less carefree with each passing year does not mean i value it any less.

The "good old days" for me were the NES days.
