And when I say "rare" I DONT MEAN scarce. I mean ratio wise when it comes to humans shooting more than one human in one setting men will do it more often. But again, when you are talking about ALL firearm fatalities most of them are IN THE HOME, and most of the victims are WOMEN AND KIDS.

BUT AGAIN, when you have a flooded market and anyone REGARDLESS can gain access to a weapon legally with no record, then go on after the legal buy to kill someone, or if someone gets their gun illegally stolen, and they murder someone, IN BOTH cases, the point is moot.

The motif may be to many a "human interest" story, but again, at this point in history, our flooded market and ease of access seems to me to be a far more important focus, considering the countless murders we have with a variety of countless motives.

You’re missing the point, lol.  For like, a hot minute, I’m not on the subject of gun control.  Mental illness is a thing that exists on its own, and can be discussed outside of the context of gun control.  Just because some factors correlate with one another doesn’t mean we shouldn’t discuss or investigate them separately.  That’s how we do science, after all.

Example (hypothetical):  If I made a thread tomorrow about how my mom shot my dad dead because she was depressed and having auditory hallucinations, do you think that would be an appropriate time to bring up the topic gun control?

We haven;t really heard why her channel was demonetized..she seemed to think it was because of her veganism.....or maybe her occasionally traditional iranian garb.  

IDK, I doubt that youtube is engaged ion some kind of vast conspiracy to suppress veganism or headscarves.  She was a nutbar who got her allowance taken away and just so happened to have a gun - fixating on youtube as a manifestation of The Man..who was holding her down and hiding The Truth and promoting lewd behaviors she felt were inappropriate (particularly compared to her own offerings).  That fed into her persecution complex, which was supported by a veritable buffet of loon talking points.  The authorities were notified that she was unhinged and wouldn;t have gone all the way out there for no reason by her own family who;d had her listed as a missing person..they nabbed her before the shooting and let her roll.

Not really.  She seems to have thought that youtube ruined her life...and while it probably wasn't youtube that did that we can safely say that she felt like her life was ruined.  She would have been what, early teens, when her family brought her here, yay..culture shock. 

Combine that sort of internal isolation, desperation, and stress with a person who never really had a full deck to begin with, oh..yeah....and a gun.

Whomever did so probably wouldn't have had any way to know how it would turn out..but..yeah, if we could track this sort of shit somehow she'd probably ping on a list of likely shooters with ease.  She managed to check most of the boxes in one or two posts/vids.

Teen expat, now in her 30/s 40's dissatisfied with culture, convinced that a vast immoral conspiracy was aligned aginst her personally, and ruined her life through the proxy of youtube...drove all the way over there to confront them while disappearing to her friends and family..... and can I haz a gun please?
