men and women with tattoos, hot or not?

RE: men and women with tattoos, hot or not?
Generally speaking, I don't like tatoos. It's just an art form that I don't particularly like.

And yes, it makes a person less attractive to me. But not a deal-breaker.

It's not something I look for, but the right tattoo on the right young woman does look good to me.

Generally I'm not a fan of them. I think I could find certain understated ones alluring on the right person. I don't think they'd actually put me off unless they were really tacky or relentless.

If you are willing to live with that knowing you will be wrinkled and old, it is still up to you.  Yes, I have seen some extremely well done tattoos, but those are not for me.

I second this. Few things are less trashy looking than a faded distorted tat on wrinkly saggy skin, imho.

It isn't that it is "trashy" but merely old. Print out a picture when it is new and it is crisp, those get old and fade too. The memories are still there, but you don't see the same crispness.

Don't make tattoos about class or right or wrong. I didn't mean it as looking "trashy" when you get old. It doesn't make an old person "trashy" looking, it merely means the tat isn't what it was.

I didn't say it was about right or wrong. I just said I think it looks trashy, visually.

Ever think about what you would turn it into if something happened between you guys?

Very rarely do we feel the same about something or like something just as much in 5 years' time. More time spent dwelling on that thought is less time getting a vibrant red dragon sleeve, Deidre! Go go go!

I think that was kind of the point. He has faith in his wife and in their commitment to each other, which is why he symbolised that trust by putting something permanent on his body. In which case, he wouldn't be thinking about "well, if this doesn't work out..."

Of course. But it'd be funny to think about. If her name is Olivia you can turn it into a tattoo that says "Olives" with an olive next to it. Hehehaha.

a shoulder/shirt with short sleeves of flowers, would be what I'd get if my mind would allow it. Have you ever seen that look? So beautiful, with a tank top.

Depends on the person and the tattoo. Not to mention the location.

Not a fan of facial tattoos. But, as I say about many things, each to their own.
