men and women with tattoos, hot or not?

I’m in the depends category. It depends on how many, where they are, how large they are, what they are (wannabe gangsta tats are a huge turn off), etc.

I don't share Neo's judgement about people's character who get them.  I just question their ability to anticipate how they'll feel about looking at the same stylistic flourish on their body over the years, especially as their skin sags and their body shape changes too.  But they could very reasonably feel different about it than I do.  It certainly isn't inevitable that they will regret it just because I would have.

I don't want one. Some tattoos are fine in others but if it starts covering a good portion of their body then it becomes a bit of a turn off. I prefer a body without tattoos.

How the hell can piercings and tattoos be a disrespect by that logic nice clothes and jewelry must be a disrespect.Tattoos have been sacred in hundreds of cultures  including my own .

I don't really care. It depends on the tattoo. They could give a woman more character or make a woman look uglier. Either way it's only marginal.

Every tattoo, regardless of how big or small, regardless of position on the body, regardless of quality or content says exactly the same thing to me. They all say 'I make poor choices.'

Those without are square and boring.
I don't know why that is but it's just fucking true.
So those that look at a tattooed person and scrunches their face up, don't worry, we don't want you either. :-)

Tattoos are disgusting....to me...just a gut reaction. For some reason when I find out someone has a tattoo I start to think less of them. Not consciously judging or anything...maybe just disappointed because it seems like such a lack of judgment and respect for one's body.

Not fond of pierced ears either.

What about other piercings?

Growing up we put rings in the ornery hogs' noses do keep them from biting each other. It's hard for me to put that image out of my mind. I also associate piercings with primitive tribal societies.

I thought about my tattoos for a very long time before I got them. If I still loved the image after a year I got the tattoo. My thigh tattoo covers my hip, into my waist on my hip bone, then back onto my ass a bit, and down my thigh. It's been with me for over 11 years. I was 105lbs when I got it and I went through my pregnancy at 158lbs and I still love it and think it looks good. There was no lack of respect for my body in this decision. If anything I love my body enough to adorn it with pretty things.
