The American Revolution continues. It's a process, not a single event in history. I seem to remember that even they said as much.

They only love the document when it serves their corporate masters. If they loved the document itself, they'd have been having their little protest rallies when Bush was using it for toilet paper.

Poor people aren't buying draconian IP & Copyright legislation such as the DMCA, COICA & the upcoming ACTA Treaties. So there is one huge, glaring example for you.

Except this is exactly what the Magna Carta did.

All in all, I do think having Ron Paul head the Senate Finance Committee would be a good thing. Aside from his views on abortion & the environment, which are partly due to his career, faith & State he represents, he has a decent voting record & he actually seems like an honorable man, a rare thing in politics.

Yes, and that was only put into law because it was forced onto the monarch by the barons. King John didn't sign the document because he wanted to; he signed it because he was facing a complete rebellion and had nobody to ally with.

By complete coincidence, I'm typing this post a few miles down the road from where the Magna Carta was sealed by King John Wink

I agree. I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul.
