Trick question?

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Small potatoes compared to what god will do to them..man.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

That's how white folks rolled, nothing to do with Christianity.

If so, find the part in the bible where Christians are commanded to burn people up.

Blame Whitey!

IDK man, I don't see anything inherently white about burning people on account of their biblically described thought crimes. It's never crossed my mind...I might not be white enough?

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
Revelation 21:8

"Since it rejects or denies the existence of God, atheism is a sin against the virtue of religion."
Catholic catechism

Quote:The Albigensian Crusade or the Cathar Crusade (1209–1229; French: Croisade des albigeois, Occitan: Crosada dels albigeses) was a 20-year military campaign initiated by Pope Innocent III to eliminate Catharism in Languedoc, in southern France. The Crusade was prosecuted primarily by the French crown and promptly took on a political flavour, resulting in not only a significant reduction in the number of practising Cathars, but also a realignment of the County of Toulouse in Languedoc, bringing it into the sphere of the French crown and diminishing the distinct regional culture and high level of influence of the Counts of Barcelona.

The Cathars originated from an anti-materialist reform movement within the Bogomil churches of Dalmatia and Bulgaria calling for a return to the Christian message of perfection, poverty and preaching, combined with a rejection of the physical to the point of starvation. The reforms were a reaction against the often scandalous and dissolute lifestyles of the Catholic clergy in southern France. Their theology, neo-Gnostic in many ways, was basically dualist. Several of their practices, especially their belief in the inherent evil of the physical world, conflicted with the doctrines of the Incarnation of Christ and sacraments, initiated accusations of Gnosticism and brought them the ire of the Catholic establishment. They became known as the Albigensians, because there were many adherents in the city of Albi and the surrounding area in the 12th and 13th centuries.

Between 1022 and 1163, the Cathars were condemned by eight local church councils, the last of which, held at Tours, declared that all Albigenses should be put into prison and have their property confiscated. The Third Lateran Council of 1179 repeated the condemnation. Innocent III's diplomatic attempts to roll back Catharism were met with little success. After the murder of his legate, Pierre de Castelnau in 1208, Innocent III declared a crusade against the Cathars. He offered the lands of the Cathar heretics to any French nobleman willing to take up arms.

From 1209 to 1215, the Crusaders experienced grand success, capturing Cathar lands and perpetrating acts of extreme violence, often against civilians.

Christianity has existed in Ethiopia for the past 1900 or so years, how many people have they burned at the stake?

Seeing how that picture is of victims of the Guernsey witch trials, courtesy of the Catholic Church... Haiti is 85% Catholic and 50% of Haitians practice vodou, why haven't we heard of any witches being burned up by the church there?

White people have existed in my living room for at least as long as I can remember..I've never seen them burn anyone at the stake for various heresies.  There seems to be something particular to those white people that did...and for the life of me..I just can't put my finger on it.

The world may never know, and in the interim we may as well blame whitey. Good as any other guess.

No need to quote the catechism to me since I don't consider the catholic church to be any kind of authority.

Here's the thing; an atheist is not being punish for a "thought crime" they are facing the consequences of refusing to accept the prescribed remedy for their condition...

You're not special; everyone is in the same boat, you just consciously refuse to accept that God exists, and subsequently refuse repentance... Is it God's fault if you choose to die in your sins?

Is it the doctors fault if you refuse to take your prescribed medicine and die in agony, after you been warned ad nauseam what would happen if you don't take it?
