I can't play FPS they give me a headache just like flying games. I will sit there for 16 hours playing a RPG though.

It's not lame to want to see something that you identify with represented in all aspects of life. I'm not gay and yet I like to buy and support anything that shows gay couples. It's the best way to normalize it for a society that hates it.

Definitely RPG. Stealth+archery, poison, magic, crafting, light or no armor, dagger or one handed axe/sword specifically, though not necessarily all in the same character.

I mainly play RPG's. But I like Borderlands 2 which is a hybrid. But the whole duck behind cover/shoot/cover again/repeat of FPS is super mentally draining.
With RPG's I try to explore everything I can, and I usually do the side quests too. I hardly ever finish a game though. My little brother is annoyingly good at FPS games.

My tastes generally run counter to the mainstream. A lot of the titles other people gush about (The Last of Us and Final Fantasy XV are two recent examples) I find to be terrible experiences. So, it’s not really a matter of genre to me - I’ll play most anything - but rather whether or not something adheres to my incredibly picky tastes.

I’m the same way with a lot of other things: music, TV/film, books, food, etc. For whatever reason, most of what I encounter is ‘meh’ or worse to me. *shrug*

Can't play FPS because I get an instant headache. (Got sensitized by watching someone else play Castle Wolfenstein 3D for several hours.)

I'm more of an RTS type. Rather fond of the original Starcraft; haven't set aside the time to finish SCII yet.

Tried to play Baldur's Gate but never figured out how to get out of the castle in scene one. :-D
