RTS primarily. Mostly just one game... my favorite game ever.
Also RPGs... and especially Blizzard ones. D3, D2, WoW, etc. As for FPS... I only like the oldskool ones before FPS got pussificated and turned into nothing but spawncamping and hiding behind walls. Also linear storylines with unskippable cutscenes in single player... yuck. I miss the epic 1993 level design of Doom:
I like Mario and duck hunt. So both...

That's why I like the old style FPS's! Watch this video for juicy oldskool goodness from my favorite YouTuber ever: (April 28, 2018 at 12:38 am)Hammy Wrote: RTS primarily. Mostly just one game... my favorite game ever. Yeah, games are definitely being dumbed down. On another forum I frequent, someone was asserting that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was an obtuse game to play. Now, admittedly, some of the secrets require some weird uses of your character's abilities, but getting the best ending doesn't require anything more than pattern recognition and a desire to explore the castle. But because the game doesn't hold your hand and tell you exactly where to go or what to do, he considered it difficult. Talk to Gorion near the middle of the map.
When I was in my yout (14/15) I'd come home from school, stick on Call of Duty and tell strangers over the internet how I'd shagged their mums while 360 no scoping them to get the final killcam.
Nowadays I'm into RPG's and stories. The Witcher 3, Fallout, Mass Effect. I also like open world games, and any game that really puts you in the shoes of the character you're playing. I still like the occasional FPS but they don't hold the same appeal to me. (April 27, 2018 at 9:53 pm)gnoramus Wrote: I loved the Borderlands games ... unique visuals... Yeah wish I could describe them, kind of like a combo of a comic book/painting but hyper real. I've never played it on my PS4 but it has some of the best graphics of any game on PSVita IMO. Do I recall correctly that you are a PC gamer? The PS systems are a little different as they have a chip that can put a line on the outside of the images so it looks like its drawn like this: It's really not the most impressive screenshot in the game but you get the idea.
I think it's beautiful. I love the art style of Borderlands.
I played it on PS3 back when I had a PS3 and used it on my exroommate's TV. So I don't have the game anymore. As there's no point keeping it when I don't have a PS3. I've been meaning to buy it and play it again for cheap on Steam. And I ALWAYS prefer the PC versions to console versions (unless it's an awful console port). Excited about playing it on PC someday. Although nowadays I'm too busy playing AoE2, Dawn of War, and a selection of Roguelites. RE: Your gaming style?

I used to Halo a lot, all games up to 4 then I stopped. Average KD on halo reach and 4 was bordering on 3 but I preferred big team battles as I found the carnage brilliant. Destiny was my last FPS online multiplayer and I had a KD over 4 in 6v6. But I was strictly hunter class with a golden gun every game as I knew how to maximise the glass abilities each map. Plus my clan was good so we only lost when coming up against serious hardcore players. Other than that I’ll play any type of game. I prefer RPGs and strategy games, mostly. Love atheistforums.org?
