DNA Proves Existence of a Designer
RE: DNA Proves Existence of a Designer
At work.

Your lack of awareness is showing again, M4X.

Y'see, here's the thing.

I'm a 'Nontheist'.

I see nothing tha would indicate any of the 'G-d' concepts I've been presented with would match the reality I'm aware of around me.

So, using 'Better' English, what word/term should I use that is the most grammatically correct?

When posting casually. Or being as all inclusive of all the myriad 'G-d' concepts out there. I use the term/word 'Diety'.

The same for when those of faith use the term 'Miracle'.

From a functional definition stance 'Miracle' is synonymous with 'Magic'.

The words are interchangeable in sentence construction.

D'ye Grok where I'm coming from M4X?

No lack of awareness.  I know what you believe.  No reason to beat a dead horse over it.  But I don't believe in using "magic" or tie it as necessary for any belief I have.  So when you say "magic", and associate it with my beliefs, you might as well be speaking Swahili to me, because it will get you the same disinterest.

I know you don't give a rat's petunia for other people's mode of speech M4X.

I've also travelled long past the point where I'm going to care what you want to do with and/or present your language or word use.

You can offer a better definition for your 'Miracles'?

Fine, lets see 'em. Untill you present up something solid, then 'Magic' is the synonym to me.

The same with 'Diety' = 'G-d'.

Unitll you give something worthwhile or better, they're all just diety's to me.

Why not just say "miracles" if you know that's what something is considered to be?  Seems easy enough.  Using the word doesn't mean you agree with the context it is being used, but at least it is better understood.  But hey, whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Using shorter words takes less time on a finger tapping screen.

Glad we seem to have come to an accord.

For the past 100+ years of scientific research, perhaps it is better to start here: https://www.nature.com/nature/history/index.html

You might need to pay them to access everything, but such is the nature of the service they provide.

I know that journal covers far more than just evolution... But I am well aware that, in order to understand one field of science, you need to have some awareness of what goes on in the other fields... You do want to get as compete a picture as possible, right?

"God" is shorter than "deity", but okay.

I know we don't agree on a lot of things, but I really do wish you well. Smile

Not paying for a wild goose chase of what someone claims exists.  It's not bias against atheists though.  I'm the same way for people trying to sell me tickets to Bigfoot expeditions.  They think they're right too, and maybe they are, but don't care as long as the picture is fuzzy that they are shaking in front of me.

A blind man with no interest whatsoever in seeing disingenuously tells others to paint a photo realistic painting of reality to disprove what he imagines the world to be like.   You think he will acquire sight now for the purpose of actually using the photo library of the world you recommend as a more reliable indicator of the apparence of reality?

It's a wild goose chase.  You can't provide what you claim, so tell someone to go look in some source loaded with an incredible amount of info.  Seen that dishonest tactics by many.  Either you have what you claim or you don't.  So far it looks like you don't.

The Nature journal is one of the most prestigious scientific journals for a reason, don't you think?

But anyway, if you're only interested in the evolutionary part of biology, go here: https://www.nature.com/subjects/evolution

If you can't be arsed to pay, go to a library, they usually have these subscriptions and let you search the full catalog.

You're the one asking for all the evidence, man. I'm showing you one place where the best evidence is.
No one can help you much beyond this...
