Could be, but an ad populum argument is more likely to make me think I'm right, if I'm honest. People resort to fallacies when they don't have any sound arguments.

The proof and the evidence make me think I am right despite what the polls show.

I said specified complexity.  It is both extremely specific and complex.  It is functional as it's sequence determines the sequence of amino acids which build chains into molecular machines.  There was a Designer that created this.

How can you tell whether complexity is specified or not?

I know the majority isn't always right.  Group think can slip in,...  Look what happened in Nazi Germany.  However, I think in this case there is so much proof for design of living systems and the universe, it is a great thing the majority are Christian in this nation.  I think it is one thing that makes this nation great, along with the US Constitution which is a Godly document in my opinion.  I know this nation has a lot of problems and a lot of issues with FBI, CIA, NSA,..., but at least we still have the US Constitution which guarantees our rights.  Let me guess, you are a socialist?

The majority is wrong often enough that resorting to reminding your opponents whose opinion is in the majority is an indication that you lack non-fallacious arguments. I know you weren't asking me personally, but I used to be a 'big L' Libertarian, now I consider myself a 'small-c' centrist; and in the USA my politics are best represented by the Democrats. I don't consider socialism a dirty word anymore though. I still have much respect for our Constitution, our bulwark against constant attempts by fundamentalist members of the Christian majority to get their religious beliefs enshrined in our laws.

Nobody knows which religion will be the most populace in a few decades.  Only God knows that.

I am not ulta-right wing.  I am a constitutional republican.  The large number of Christians is great.  It makes this nation great.

Christian countries seem to improve as their number of Christians goes down. In all seriousness, I think it would do American Christians a world of good to experience life as a religious minority. I don't look forward to an atheist majority in the USA, everything I've seen tells me that being a large majority is corrupting. Hopefully if that day comes, we'll treat them better than they treated everyone else when they had all the power.
