See, in my multifaceted past, I was once an educator, training future engineers and that is how I know your claim to be one is false. It is a career I walked away from. I just resigned. Correct. It took me the longest time to realise this simple and obvious fact.We are not all equal in every way. We just aren't. In the end, I returned to the real world of my friends and family. Turns out that they range from dishwasher to Doctor of math. It further turns out that doctor of Math can calculate anything right up to the heat death of the universe yet somehow cannot figure out how to change out a tire.

And it occurred to me that the dumbest among us could with ease. We all hang out because we all realise our own limits and because we all know we are there for one another and that is far more important.

CDF will, of course, come back with the notion that he has that very thing in his crank religious community. The difference is that while me and friends and family do it because we actually like each other, CDF does it because an imaginary sky fairy instructed him to do so even if he has to lie. Given the number of chances (planets available, etc.) for life to start I don't see how we couldn't have aliens somewhere out there, NOW, THEN, or in the FUTURE.

I don't think we'll ever meet any intelligent ones, however, it took billions of years for intelligent life to develop on this planet. (Yay, dolphins, for making that a true statement.)

We haven't found any signs of intelligent life after a pretty long search.

Okay, so we've thorough searched this ENTIRE UNIVERSE, through the PAST and PRESENT and we haven't found any intelligent life. Anywhere.
