Theists, please describe how you experience your god

RE: Theists, please describe how you experience your god
Oh come now, you;re so happy that you spend these endless hours arguing by loon logic?  No.

Meanwhile...what do I have to do, here?   Nothing. I have nothing to lose, nothing to gain. I really don;t care about your silly god. It has no effect on my life, it changes nothing....for me. This is why you constantly fail. It actually means something to you. Maybe you should lead in...genuinely, with that? Spend less time posturing with people who couldn;t care less?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I don't believe you guys don't care, it's impossible not to, you might be a little bit allergic to effort, but you do care which is why you engage.

Well.....I care about you...even if I don't care about your god.

-and I really don;t......... that;s why you can never win this soul..you understand? If you could demonstrate to me that allah was real (which, obviously, you can;t).....all of your work would still be ahead of you.

I'm addressing this bold by me with all sincerity, one can not be taught to believe in God, it is a personal experience between God and the person. This is where I see many who believe they were/are Christians have gone wrong. To many people teach this way in the churches, I've personally seen this happen, they are so eager to have people saved that they do not allow God to do the work that is His, they want to do it for Him and salvation is work only God can do. Jesus did not die so man could save man, He died to redeem the lost back to himself. You do not need to reply to this I was only trying to make a point about why so many struggle with Christianity.

I'm taking this as serious because of your reply to CL.

Mathilda Wrote:So for example, if you actually hear your god then what language does (s)he speak. What accent does (s)he have? Is it a male or female voice? What does his / her / its voice sound like? Deep? High pitched? Soft?

I've heard God in a sense, it wasn't audible but it might as well been because it was plain as day. The language was English of coarse, there was no accent no certain pitch, nor distinctively deep or soft. What was distinct was the authority to it and the certainty of it. Once it was three words and once it was as if an entire book had been emptied into my head at once with full understanding. You are asking Christians to explain things that are not explainable even to other Christians because these are not the focus Christians care about when God does answer them.

Mathilda Wrote:If you see your god then what does it look like? White skinned, old, blue eyes and wearing white robes with a long strokable beard?

Moses was not allowed to see God and Paul was blinded and could not see Jesus in all His glory, so why would you believe that Christians would be allowed to see God in this time. Your question resembles pictures of God where people are just guessing or they are trying to portray a message of a wise God.

Mathilda Wrote:Have you ever felt your god touch your skin?

Or if you do nothing but feel the presence of your god then please describe this sensation as well.

No I haven't and see no reason why God would touch a sinner. I have felt His presence when I prayed, I can't explain what I felt other than there was someone with me that I could not see but knew without doubt, I can say it was a powerful feeling as if One of authority was standing by me. Again an unexplainable sensation.

PS of coarse each person will have different experiences, we are all different and require different approaches, we have a personal relationship and God most certainly treats it as such.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

How do theists explain that people from different religions all experience God, while saying that only their God exists?

Same way Atheists who believe in a real objective morality but notice no one practically agrees on it.

A different way to look at is religions have many different type of solutions to similar problems and different approaches.

A lot of what they say is correct. Some of it wrong.

In a test, you are rarely expected to get it all right.

People of differing faiths usually see a lot of right answers but just don't realize those right answers are found in different faiths as well.

Well no, if someone is “experiencing” a god that doesn’t exist, they aren’t partly right. And it’s the religious themselves who usually state all these other gods aren’t real.

Doesn’t this show these experiences can be fake? At best, you’re experiencing some other god, and it’s not telling you it’s something else from another religion, for some reason. Can’t be much of a connection.

Well we all believe God is Ultimate, it's the morality we differ on of it, which Atheists differ about morality in humans but still believe in it.

Killing apostates, killing gays, not giving women right to divorce with same right as men, etc..  a lot to say the least.

You are right in that regard, if we don't connect through the proper means of our time, true leaders and kings like Moses, Aaron, and Jesus, we are most likely following people who name themselves with the name of God and to a degree are naming ourselves with that name, saying our opinion represents God.

That is where all perished in the past, and that's how the generations leading to Noah strayed off those set by God like Seth and created in the image of God like Enoch, all evil ensues from that.

The Aaronic priesthood is a trust of authority and name of God, it belongs to the pure chosen ones, not people who attribute righteousness to themselves or trick people to do so regarding them.
