New Rule - Promoting Terrorism
|
|
We already knew what would happen with firebombing, the March, 1945, raid killed more people than either atomic bomb.
As for the civilians, you had to be a preteen or an elderly person to be a civilian in Japan at the time. The lawfully appointed government of Japan deemed all able-bodied Japanese to be part of the military. Gen. Anami declared "100,000,000 dead in defense of Japan!" There were only ~70,000,000 Japanese at the time, so the rest would have to made up by the Allies. Anami would start that process by ordering that every Allied POW, man, woman or child, would be killed when the first Allied boot touched the Home Islands. So if you making the Japanese out as victims here you need to do some research.
Since this is entirely preemptive, what would be an example of promoting terrorism?

Seeing how they were primarily aimed at the civilian population in order to force the Japanese government to surrender, falls in line with the definition of terrorism. “What constitutes support or promotion of known terrorist groups is up to staff discretion. ” Glad I could clear that up for you
Nelson Mandela was once listed as a Terrorist by US. Glad we can at least praise him today. *smiles*

There are plenty of examples online. ![]() I understand the need for discussion about it, of course. I just really, really think it won't ever matter to any of you that this rule exists.

Do I have to promote it in every post, or once every so often?
