Trying to scare these people shitless doesn;t work to keep them out because they;re running for their lives already. It just makes it harder to enforce our laws..and, as it has for some time now..makes the victims of crimes afraid to report crimes for fear of being kicked back to the place they fled from. In sum..it makes the problem..however you conceive of it..worse.
There's no legitimate reason for anyone in the Western Hemisphere countries to seek asylum in America. That law should be rescinded because it's against our national interests. The dummies who came up with it would have granted asylum to Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, Himmler. It needs to be eliminated as part of any immigration reform package.

Too my knowledge, and I'm happy to be corrected. For some crimes, the percentage committed by black people is similar or at times a little higher than whites. If you take account the population adjustments (such as those used when a black man is shot by a cop), then they are certainly higher. And I also believe that there was a thread here recently asking something about if it was racists and the scoring on tests by black people being lower.
While I'm sure that some of the peoples answers may stem from racism, if these things are true, then I don't see where there is a problem with the answer. The problem seems to come when someone tries to take group trends and apply them to an individual. Personally, I think that any trends here have little to do with the actual skin color or ethnic background.
