I tried to warn the Bernie and Hillary busters.

Well yeah. I remember all of the people criticizing Hilary from her left were being talked down to and accused of being sexiest so that Hilary didn't have to address her corruption and address issues which she didn't feel comfortable talking about. Hilary kept going on and on about: "I'm with Her" and sexism. In particular, I remember the quote by Hillarybot Madeleine Albright:

“There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."

Then, in spite of all that transpired, Hilary endorses Andrew Cuomo over Cynthia Nixon For NY Governor, thus ensuring that she gets her special place in Hell (why isn't Madeleine Albright criticizing Hilary Clinton for not supporting another woman?). Why didn't Hilary want to help Cynthia Nixon break through a glass ceiling? Video by Secular Talk:

And guess what happens? Republicans start acting like Hilary to push for criminals. i.e. if you don't support Gina Haspel in her efforts 'break the glass ceiling', thus becoming the first female head of the CIA then you are misogynistic. Secular Talk reports:
"White House Hides Behind McFeminism To Push Wár Criminal CIA Head"

If Hillbots were consistent (which they are not) and the choice at the election was between Eva Brawn and somebody like a Nelson Mandala they would have vote for Eva Brawn or be exposed as hypocrites. It would, after all, be totally sexist not to help the wife of Adolf Hitler to 'break the glass ceiling', wouldn't it? Identity politics can and is used to stifle a healthy exchange of ideas: the cooperatists in the Democrat (and now the Republican too) Party push the identity politics agenda so that they guilt people into voting for objectivity bad candidates and, therefore, get crooks elected. Hilary won't to admit that she didn't endorse Andrew Cuomo over Cynthia Nixon because Cynthia doesn't like the corrupt system of government in the USA (Hilary loves the legalised bribery of politicians).

I remember hearing somewhere that novel Fahrenheit 451 talks about identity polices and how it lead to an erosion of free speech and the need for "firemen" to burn books. I should really read that book someday. Point is, people need to be very careful what they wish for.

I could see this coming. The rest of what's happened so far? No fucking way could I have predicted it.

The rest of the old buzzards on the SCOTUS should be taking dirt naps in a few months.  They are too greedy to quit so they'll hang around even when they're on life support.

RE: I tried to warn the Bernie and Hillary busters.
Whilst we're on the subject of the Supreme Court, need I remind people that the Clinton supporting Democrats didn't really fight the historic Republican obstruction. They were arrogant (not to mention weak) and thought: "we can use the vacant seat on the Supreme Court as a bargaining chip in order to get people to vote for the anointed one (Goddess Hillary Clinton)." Instead of sitting there like ducks they could have been on TV every single day pointing out how irrational the Republicans are. But they can't because their cooperate donors won't let them.

On that note, what happened to the so-called "Resistance". The New York Times has an excellent article detailing who voted for which Trump appointees. We see that such people as Tim Kane and Diane Feinstein have voted for at least 50% of all Trump appointments, including for Mike Pompeo in both their cases Think of it: the resistance has been voting in favour of Mike Pompeo. Mike Pompeo! Mike Pompeo! Really? Including Hillary's choice for Vice President.

This shit right here is why we have a inept dangerous bully in office.

AND please, if you hate her so much, and I never get a good answer, please explain to me why Bernie ended up throwing his support behind her?

Oh and FYI, liberals are not going to take away free speech, that is fucking bullshit. If anyone would do that it would be Trump who has refused to condemn Nazis and KKK members. Go do your homework on American history. Bigots were the ones who silence the speech of dissent. It has always taken a progressive to expand rights to more people.

Trump is the corrupt one. He hides behind his family to keep his businesses, he has had a history of fucking over contractors and investors, he has had multiple failed businesses. And that is on top of being a fucking bully whom has attacked even war heros, on top of vilifying our watchdog press and his own intel.

Oh, and another book, Orwell's 1984. Trump is what that book was warning about. Animal Farm too.

Sorry Brian, you must have missed the part where I attack the Republicans too? Donald Trump is an idiot and he should be in jail. I think both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton should be in jail. There's a European Arrest Warrent out for Gina Haspel, which means she should not be head of the CIA. And there has not been a war Mike Pompeo did not like, am I right?

No you are NOT GOING to equate the two parties as being the same.

The GOP spent 6 million dollars and several hearings with ZERO results. If you support Bernie whom threw his support behind her then you cannot have it both ways.

No politician is perfect not even Bernie.

Long term outside of individuals the LEFT holds the right ideas. Our problem has been since Reagan, we gave up as voters when he successfully busted the air traffic control unions. Add on top of that our voter apathy in local and state elections has also sucked. As a result that allowed the GOP to control the narrative causing our politicians to compete on their terms. Our liberal politicians are not left economically, but slightly right of center. That I can agree with. BUT AGAIN, it isn't because they want to be, it is because we have not had consistency voting in every election and that as a result causes our politicians to compromise too much.

Hillary was not a politician when Reagan started the age of union busting and deregulation. And if you are going to say she belongs in jail, well then so should Obama and Bernie whom supported her.

Comey told the truth, what she did with the e-mails was not wise, but not breaking a felony law. Protocol is a guide. And it was not really widely reported that Bush Jr and his staff, such as Rice and Powell also used private devices that were not secure. Now, if you want to argue that should be fixed, fine, but don't target her if you are not going to target Bush Jr.

And I'll laugh in your face if you want me to believe that Trump or his staff always use secure devices.

There is lots to argue about the mistakes Hillary made, but she is not the enemy, Bernie is not the enemy. The asshole shitting in the White House is far more of a global and national danger. There is no point now re litigating the past. Right now the most important thing is to flip congress, and or get 45 to step down or vote him out.

I hate this argument.

Well, it's true. I'm Independent. Democrats don't automatically get my vote. They have to work for it.

Quote:If we as democrats want to clobber the GOP we have to play hardball. We have to take part. We can protect the private sector and get back to the policies of post WW2 that gave workers rights, that gave America stability. But we cannot do that if we allow the GOP to keep painting us as communists and anti patriotic.

Democrats need the Independent votes. If they keep putting up more bank-owned politicians, they aren't going to get them.

A globalist bank owned hawk with a very checkered past on race/lgbt issues isn't necessarily better. Her supreme court nominees may be better. But maybe we've got 100k troops on the ground in Syria trying to overthrow Assad. Maybe she doesn't give tax cuts to corporations. But she's signed trade deals making it preferable for corporations to do business elsewhere.

It's fair for any individual to prefer her over Trump. But it's also fair to conclude they are both a disaster for different reasons, and not support either.

It was a Kang and Kodos election. Blaming people for not wanting to vote for Hillary is goofy. Particularly for those who care a lot about unnecessary wars and globalism.
