It's all relative, isn't it...
What's the point of living if you can't have fun

Jewelry. I have a lot of nice, unique pieces, but I can't wear them all at one time. Most, I don't wear ever. :/ I didn't spend a ton of money on each one, but they all added up over the past couple of years.
I grew up so poor that I couldn't even pay attention. I've wasted very little money as a result. But I guess I'd have to admit that the '68 Buick Skylark that I bought and modified cost me a lot of money, which I never got back out of it. I finally just sold the thing, at a loss. It needed another $10k at least, to make it nice. The guy I sold it dropped a bunch more than that in it. That's his wasted money. More power to him. I will say that if you enjoy going fast with a powerful vehicle, it might even be written off for the entertainment value. I now have a fuel hog of a truck that I use to pull a travel trailer. That's another whole money pit. But at least it pulls the trailer, and I can use it to haul materials for the never-ending home repairs and upgrades I'm saddled with, now that I am retired.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Some of the old wogs who come around to buy stuff are millionaires many times over.
One's 84 and works like a horse building his (already national) empire! Good on him! I bet his kids are rubbing their hands though! He told me he needs a reason to live and get out of bed in the morning... Whatever brings you joy I s'pose

Lot's of money on weed and alcohol over and over again. It got weird with those two drugs in the sense that sometimes I wasn't even feeling good while doing them. I smoked cigs too but at least I got a little rush whenever I smoked a cig, I did enjoy smoking tobacco but quit because of how unhealthy it is.
When I bought my first car my parents made me feel like I was Jack who just bought some magic beans but my Vauxhall Corsa had been a good reliable car and my parents changed their minds eventually. I think it was just the fact I bought it right there and then up front for £7000. Which is more money than I've ever spent on anything by far all in one go. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason. In my profession I really don’t get much of an opportunity to wear it. But, if anyone wants to donate sapphire jewellery to a worthy cause, I won’t turn it down. 💍 Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
I would say the common practice of men trying to impress woman by buying them items and taking them to restaurants they can't afford.
