Article in huffpost, what the Sun looks like from the other planets...
The Sun as seen from Mars, 142 million miles away.
The Sun as seen from Pluto, 3.7 billion miles away.

Although nice to look at I don't think they are very accurate renditions.

In the industry, when an artist painted a pic of a satellite I worked on, I used to call them artist's deceptions. We have pics of the sun from various distances from the sun using real time capture via various spacecraft. But I do appreciate the effort that A Theist took the time to appreciate and post some pics!

Those pics would be interesting to see. At what distances are they?

Saturn, at least. I interviewed for the position of Cognizant Engineer at JPL for the near field antenna test range for the Cassini Mission, but the Italian Space Agency ended up with the contract for those antennas.
I vaguely remember pics of the sun, possibly through Saturn's rings. I also dimly recall that there were pics from about Jupiter's orbit.

Some pics
I don't seem to be able to find the pics I was thinking of, but the above give some samples.

Here's Mercury looks about right no real atmosphere burned and scrounged by radiation
Here's Venus looks accurate hot and chocked by deadly gases with storms raging everywhere
Saturn as always with it's majestic rings

The proportions of the Sun seem to fluctuate randomly, without regard for the distance from each planet. Saturn in particular seems to have a much smaller sun than Pluto (to be fair, they're trying to put the rings in there, which will mess with the perspective, but that doesn't explain why it looks bigger from Neptune than Uranus, or their moons, but whatever, the point still stands because there's no way the orbits of Ariel and Triton overlap enough to make the illusion make sense), and why the fuck does it look like the view from a plane around Saturn's rings?

I wish they did some of the moons i would love to see the sun from Europa.
Europa sounds terrifying

I think the view from Saturn is just for dramatic effect.I agree about the sun it's inconsistent in size and yes Ariel and Triton could never overlap like that i just put that off to artist license. These are far from perfect but better then many others i have seen .

The views from the gas giants are from one of their moons. In fact, the one for Jupiter is specifically identified as being from Europa because, well, on the planets themselves, there isn't a surface to land on. I suppose it makes sense for the view from Saturn to be focused on the rings, but the proportions remain out of whack and the cloudy aerial view from Saturn is still nonsensical.
