Troll or tard, it makes no difference. It's the same behavior. I generally ignore issues of trolling, except when I choose to counter-troll, which can be a lot of fun.

So why do you talk to LR so much? I couldn't do what you do... I can't see the point in arguing with those insane arguments.

The third sentence does not allow insult at all; there is no allowing insult up to a point permitted by the third sentence.

Negatio was merely speculating on the possible ethical responses staff may have taken, because insult was already running rampant, so, if staff had stepped in at some point, that would

have been allowing insult up to a point, Negatio is not maintaining that newbie protection allows for insult up to a point, that is absolutely absurd, the law entirely and completely disallows

insulting a newbie, criminal newbie haters will never get that through their sicko-troll-imagining superstitious heads, they dream of some hiatus in their law, when there is none, it speaks

solidly, NO INSULTING newbies !  You guys are, in fact, toast. I am not the type to prosecute, but an arbitrator is, and, being able to write persuasively, I can, if and when I choose,

arrange for an arbitration regarding violation of my rights as a newbie, so that all is not simply swept under the rug.  Which I would never have dreamed of doing, until, I just now

witnessing the total lynch mob which is, at this very moment, destructively gathered on this site, composed of deluded and confused members who fail to see that they are the trolls which

so unrelentingly project their very own troll-being onto innocent newbies.  Fucking fucked up, and, otherwise nice people...Negatio

I generally ignore issues of trolling and play it straight, was my meaning. I couldn't tell you why I spend so much time arguing with Little Rik. Maybe it's the low hanging fruit. Maybe it's just the audacity of his beliefs and attitude. I think it's natural to want to take someone displaying hubris down a notch or two, though I don't think that's it either. Though that might motivate me to expend more effort on such people. I like to argue, and so I don't generally hesitate to argue with a Drich or a Little Rik. I also argue with more sophisticated opponents like Steve or Neo, though there may be less opportunity to do so because I will, as a result of the better quality of their arguments, less often have a good argument to prosecute against them. So, ultimately it's probably simply a matter of me attacking bad arguments, regardless of their source. And for what it's worth, I don't see Little Rik's arguments or beliefs as insane. They're rationally constructed, I can understand the logic, and his worldview is coherent. What I see are errors in his reasoning, rather than pure lunacy. I'll argue with people whose arguments are coherent but flawed. I don't think Little Rik is incoherent, though others may disagree.

Some trolls are more creative and amusing than others.  It's the same thing going on when we get our kids those big blow up weeble wobbles.  No matter how many times you punch them in the face, they keep popping right back up.  It's fun.  It's stupid fun, sure...but it's undeniably fun.

Now, if you bought one of those...and your kid straight up jacked it in it's stupid grill..and rather than popping back up with that big smile on it's brainless face it just rolled around on the ground making grunting noises....you'd feel like your kid wasn't really getting the full entertainment bang for your buck, eh?

Wink

Yeah I agree not insane, I was just thinking more about the sheer amount of confirmation bias, combined with his let's say idiosyncratic style Wink... that's what I meant by insane... but not insane insane Wink Just watch me now go on about how misunderstood he is... I'm incorrigible sometimes Wink But anyway, yeah I see what you're saying. I'm pretty much the opposite though; I hate arguing.
