Looks like Dutton or Morrison will be PM by the end of the day.  If one of them calls an election before the end on the year, and lose, then Labor will win and Bill Shorten will become the 8th PM in 11 years.

We are going for it! Must look up Italy numbers...

Norm

My prediction.
Scott Morrison becomes more popular than Turnbull was, Labor switches Bill Shorten for Anthony Albanese.
Labor wins by a narrow margin in February.

LL, wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth for Liberal!

Turnbull got out in time and everyone who stabbed him loses! win-win.
Funny how things work out.

My defence policy would be to buy nukes since it would make NZ nervous.

😉

We don't fancy your aim.

1.  Beccs becomes PM.

2.  Buys nuclear tipped missiles.

3.  Launches said missiles at New Zealand.

4.  Indonesia destroyed.

I saw a headline a couple of days ago that said something like 'Australia Without A Functioning Government' and I thought to myself, 'How can they tell?'

1. El Presidente

2. “Buy”?

3. Good so far.

4. I fail to see the downside.

1.  Ok.

2.  'Buy' was your word, sweets, not mine.

3.  Agreed. We're not worried (it's common knowledge that girls can't throw).

4.  Your lousy aim and broken promises would ignite a revolution.

Yeah, I should have put quotations around “buy” in the original post.

If the missiles fire incorrectly it will be down to the underlings, not the Glorious Leader.

The revelutionaries I’m prepared for. So long as they don’t have Jedi (and I don’t think that the Jesus Knights will be any threat).

1. El presidental denotes an unseemly and degrading willingness to nod at pluralism.

2. Any price is fine for nuclear weapon, so long as method of payment is negotiated after delivery.

3. That’s why she has a button.  What do you think, this is the Iron Age?

4. Revolutionary fervor is usually doused by the arrival of nuclear weapons.

She has a button?? That's even worse - you know how chicks are with mechanical stuff.

I don't object to beccs ruling Australia, as long as her official duties are limited to baking brownies and crocheting tea cozies. You know - stuff girly types are supposed to do.
