Australia - New Prime Minister by the end of Today?
August 22, 2018 at 8:37 pm
Turnbull is a dead man walking, even more so than he was after Tuesday night.
Three more Minister resignations, with Cormann of all people defecting, Dutton demanding a new meeting this afternoon, and now speculation that Morrison will be running.
Australian Prime Ministers since 2007:
John Howard - lost election in December 2007
Kevin Rudd, Labor. December 2007 – June 2010. ...
Julia Gillard, Labor. June 2010 – June 2013. ...
Kevin Rudd, Labor. June 2013 – September 2013. ...
Tony Abbott, Liberal. September 2013 – September 2015. ...
Malcolm Turnbull, Liberal. September 2015 – August 2018. ...
Peter Dutton?, Liberal. August 2018 - Next Election? Tomorrow?
Seven Prime Ministers in 11 years? Has to be a world record.

I keep offering.
A beneficial dictatorship under my benign guidance would be good for Oz.
My defence policy would be to buy nukes since it would make NZ nervous.

Looks like Dutton or Morrison will be PM by the end of the day. If one of them calls an election before the end on the year, and lose, then Labor will win and Bill Shorten will become the 8th PM in 11 years.
We are going for it! Must look up Italy numbers...

Italy. The land of expensive shoes that last, and cheap prime ministers that don’t.

Yeah....you can't beat the champ by decision. You have to knock him out.
Ever since Italy reconstituted itself as a republic in 1946, a year after the fall of Benito Mussolini, it has churned through governments. In the 67 years since Italians have had 61 governments (or 62, if you count Mr Letta’s), each one lasting for a little more than a year on average.

We don't fancy your aim.
1. Beccs becomes PM.
2. Buys nuclear tipped missiles.
3. Launches said missiles at New Zealand.
4. Indonesia destroyed.
-----------
I saw a headline a couple of days ago that said something like 'Australia Without A Functioning Government' and I thought to myself, 'How can they tell?'

Malcolm Turnbull's timeless contribution to our way of life is giving us the Grand final Friday before public holiday for Victoria!
Norm, was that Turnbull or the one before? I just can't keep up with them all, but I am forever grateful.
