I haven't read a single proof thread yet. Just been watching them pile up. I'm a bad forum member for not keeping up on thread themes. Sad

So I think I'm going to start reading thirty of them.

I had a proving cannon once upon a time. The armories had to check the quality of gunpowder they received. To do this they put a quantity in a small cannon (a mortar actually) and lit it. Their practiced eye determined if it was up to snuff. The powder that passed the test was branded "proofed".

I agree with you all the time. I just rarely post when I agree with someone. "I agree with that guy" is a boring post.

I haven't opened any "proof" threads either. Did I miss anything?

Also, I'm legit scared to open vorlon's DISGUSTINGIST thread. Maybe I'll do it later after a rumchata.
