Thought I would poke my head in here since I don't see any other commenters of the female variety on this thread.
Iggy said it best - Trust your instincts! If something seems off, do not try to convince yourself out of it.
Easy for me to say here, though, since I'm an impassioned observer.
Girl, I know what it feels like when the endorphins start going. And logic goes out the window. Sometimes it ends well, sometimes badly.
And a man who says he's in no hurry to go to bed...  you have no idea how many times I've heard that just before getting laid.

He said he wants to but isn't ready. I'm only assuming the court case and the eviction are the reason. But it might be an emotional readiness. But the only reason it didn't happen Tuesday was my landlord knocked on my door (saved by the bell) wanting to know who this guy was.

Iggy also said time is the litmus test. I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Either he's for real or he's not, and I haven't known him long enough to feel seriously broken-heated if he's not. Time will tell the story.
