Saudi journalist killed and hacked inside Saudi embassy in Istanbul

Good, investigation is always good.

However the Saudis may claim the consulate is their territory and refuse any investigation by turkish police. Erdogan also is in the process of transforming Turkey into an autocracy. I dont know (yet) if and how far this has influenced the turkish police. How much of this story is true or how much is part of a political struggle between Turkey and the Emirates, we will see.

After all, just a few months ago Erdogan called the german government nazis, but now is begging for money to save him form the results of the devastating effects of his economic policy.

Indeed it is good to make sure.

But I think the matter exceeds Erdogan and his personal ambitions to being a matter of "Turkish sovereignty" and "Saudi outrageous and scary" abusing of international law.

If the investigation did confirm the killing of Jamal; then this is a disaster for the Saudi regime, and a proof to the horrors its citizens -and even foreigners in it- are living every day. This way we know that the world failed to contain this family of psychopaths, Jamal had the American passport, if this didn't protect him then it means the Sauds crossed it all.

It's a global problem.

I hope Jamal wasn't killed and hacked; but that is just a very far assumption. They -the Sauds- are killer and vicious criminals.

The Turkish CCTVs outside the embassy didn't catch him on any recording of him getting out, the same BBC source says:

The country has demanded Saudi Arabia prove he left - despite not giving evidence of the claim he was killed inside.

There is no CCTV footage for him leaving; only for him entering.

I'm inclined to believe the Turkish side of the story. The man was probably killed and dismembered.
