Brian's not checking the weather. AGAIN. Consoling

He's preoccupied for the 45th time.

A Hurricane is a Hurricane, even when it is orange.

That, and I am licking my wounds over the Redskins crappy show last night.

Oh well, one's a force of nature with which you can't reason and that you can't avoid.

The other is a hurricane.

Yep.  Hubby moved to the beach (in NC) Sunday to work on the LAST hurricane damaged homes.

He's renting a furnished TRAILER.  For anywhere from weeks to months, coming home on the weekends.

I guess he's the storm magnet there now.  Seriously though, what they are saying on the local news down there is rain, rain and more rain, (just like here near Raleigh) and the winds aren't even supposed to be all that bad.  At least that's what last night's news said.

LOTS of roof damage down there.  Lots of inside damage caused by roof damage.  Lots of wet stuff caused by rain/wind after roof damage.  Lots of siding damage.  As he was driving down he said he started seeing lots and lots of damage beginning around Kinston and it just got worse the further east he went.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?

Inland got hit the worst from the flooding here in NC.  Same thing happened two years ago with Mathew in SC and NC.

Well I hope everyone stays safe and gets out of Michael's path. From my understanding it's now a Cat 2 and is only 1mph away from being upgraded to a Cat 3.
