Rape and incest are real. You can't do realistic power struggles among royal families without including it, to be fair.

Let's (re-)watch a series on Netflix together.

The only two shows I have rewatched multiple times are not on Netflix.

I've always hated fantasy for this reason; Game of Thrones was the exception because of how realistic some aspects were. The authors intention was to subvert high fantasy tropes like those featured in the LotR movies. This includes rape, incest, and the realism/DE-glorification (is that a word) of war. People die and stay dead. And they shit their pants. A Feast for Crows, the fourth novel, discusses war from a peasants POV and actively works against the classic fantast trope of honorable and glorified warfare. Let’s watch/rewatch “The End of the Fucking World”!

Wiser words were never spoken.
The only shows I've watched multiple times are highly episodic, like NCIS and Law & Order. Not much point in rewatching those together.

The 100 is also pretty good... but idk if older people would like it. It's post-apocalyptic but actually has interesting storylines, and focuses on a lot of important concepts through metaphors and parallels. About 75% of the main characters are teens (played by adults. :/), so... people may get bored by it. That and it always ends on a cliffhanger so I doubt an episode a week will work.
The word bed actually looks like a bed.
I'd go with Breaking Bad again I think... it's one of the few ones that whenever I look at it I think it's something I I could/should rewatch. Better Call Saul's good as well but nowhere near as much as BB imo.
Twin Peaks?
