On a mobile device, the format will default to "mobile version." From a PC, it's a matter of clicking the alerts box and then (in bottom right corner of the box) clicking "delete all alerts." If you can't delete your alerts, report it to that link I gave you earlier. That is something that any forum user ought to be able to do. And staff might have a quick fix. I remember having to mess with the settings between my PC and my phone for a while before I fixed it. Can't remember what I did, though.

Instead of blocking cookies, clear them.
On the phone, I usually get the desktop version of the forum, by simply requesting the desktop version from the browser, without having to click anything at the bottom of the page. On the PC, if you are getting the mobile version, also clear cookies and refresh the page with a ctrl+f5 |
