Noted.

Boss Lady's going to watch it, I'll see what she says. She's knows my tastes.

She's been through the first five epis. Here's her take: There are no real jump scares, but these people have been screwed up by that house.

Probably why I liked it when I usually don't care for the genre.  No spoilers, but there's always a question as to whether the family is so seriously fucked up that they're imagining all this.

I can't remember what movie we rented this year that was presented as a comedy, that in the first minute someone having sex threw up in their partner's mouth.  NO.  Just, NO.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?

But there are reports that it is SO scary that viewers are vomiting and passing out while watching.  Seriously?  You're that far off of being able to tell the difference between fiction and reality that you're puke-fainting because of a television programme?

This one is on my list!  Can’t wait to get to it!

I really despise that kind of plot.

But something the authorish son says in the first epi...

Sounds like the byproduct oF subliminal insertcasting.

...

This sort of thing was reported during the theatrical  debut of The Exorcist.

Saw it three times, didn't notice that. My sister decided to hang out in the lobby until it was over, however. When I came out she was sitting with six guys who had wimped out. (The fact that she was a 17 yo hottie had nothing to do with their decisions, I'm sure.)

The fact that you think of your sister as a hottie makes your family tree make more sense.

I didn't think of her as a hottie, she was gorgeous. There was nothing sexual about that. You perving may produce different results, of course.

I just always read too much into what people say. I'm also the worrier type who imaginatively conceptualizes everyone disliking me.
