I'm not seeking purpose. I know I have already served mine. But as I've said,or tried to.. It's difficult to come up with why I exist other than I just do. Would the world be functioning differently if I didn't exist? Yes it would. Does that matter? No it doesn't.

IMO you don't need a "purpose" at all. You just need sufficiently interesting things to do with your life. I really don't care why I do things, but I care passionately about doing them.

That's identical to how I operate - I try to do things that make me feel good and avoid doing things that make me feel bad. Being healthy? Feels good so I strive for that. Achieving things at work? Feels good so I strive for that. Needlessly dumping tons of carbon into the upper atmosphere by taking a holiday on the Falkland Islands? Feels bad so I try to avoid doing that. I'm told by a fellow member that the purpose is to love and glorify God. Apparently according to some it's more specific than just feeling good.

My purpose is to be me.

My car's purpose is to be a car. The wheel's purpose are to be wheels.
Now then, I can use most anything as a hammer, but an actual hammer does that job much better than a pair of pliers.
One might say that a hammer's purpose is to hammer nails. I would say a hammer's purpose is to be used in any way I deem necessary.

In that way, I'm like a hammer. I can have any number of purposes at any given point in time.

As a baby, my purpose is to survive. As a child, my purpose is to learn and have fun.
As a teenager, my purpose is to not do enough stupid shit that either get's me killed or kicked out of the house.

I'm 53 now. My purpose in life is to not give a fuck about most things and spoil my grandchildren.
