Just to make certain I understand the process- when I deleted your rep, you didn't get notified, but you did get notified when I upped it up again? Seems kind of strange. I would expect that a thumbs up/down would notify, either way.

If you drop by one rep, then the last "visible" person to rep you is the culprit.

Unless it just happens to be a coincidence.

Not really, since Mark didn't see that I had removed his rep point, or at least hasn't responded to that yet. I repped him about two years ago, so me being the last "visible" person to rep him is not the case. I deleted that rep, and then re-instituted that rep, all in fun, just to see what the process looks like. I hope he doesn't hate me for it; it was all in fun to test out a question I had, and the net result is that his rep was the same from one minute to the next. As to the larger picture, BSB noticed a drop in rep by one point (unless he was just having us on) and had no indication as to who did it- unless he just didn't look. It would appear that the results are so far inconclusive.

WTH- remove my rep point and I'll let you know, tomorrow. That's if you ever repped me. :cries if you didn't: It's eyelid light-leak inspection time for me, now. Good night, all!

Mostly i forget the rep feature exist until there is a "rep me" thread. Which i avoid.
