And, just for the record, Hitler is played by the director Taika Waititi (apparently a condition Fox Searchlight gave for funding the movie) and it's ironic to see Hitler being played by someone who would have been gassed for AT LEAST four reasons. First, he's non-white, since his father is Maori (thus nonwhite), second because his mother was Russian (hopefully I shouldn't have to explain what Hitler had against the Slavs), third because his maternal grandfather was Jewish (maybe he's not Jewish by official Jewish law, but that would be more than enough for the Nazis to consider him unclean), and fourth because he supports the New Zealand Labour Party, making him one of the social democrats that would have been one of Hitler's earliest targets. And if he was gay, it'd be even better, but then again, he's married to Chelsea Winstanley with two kids, and has made no announcements of being bisexual or his marriage to Chelsea being a sham, so that one's out.

Well, well, well...What do you know? Apparently, African-American Lewis Latimer's genius contribution and critical improvement to Edison's work hasn't been conveniently left out of this film; He's being portrayed by actor Simon Manyonda. 

Color me shocked...lol.

The film looked like something I'd be interested in seeing. Now I'm not hesitant to pay good money in order to watch it.

It's more about acknowledging the contributions made by minorities to America's "greatness" in general. 

Tesla's tremendous achievements were reduced to footnote in history, true. That was largely due to the same whitewashing of history that rendered Latimer and other black innovators in technology and medicine virtual unknowns. 

Most Americans don't know that they even existed at all.

In a twist of turnabout, a corporate defense attorney risks losing his career, his family and his life to expose the DuPont Company's chemical pollution.
Based on a true story, obviously.



Jesus...This film would probably be a decent watch if it starred anyone other than Mark Ruffalo.
I'll probably check it out though.
