You're kidding yourself if you think that if KFC served gravy based on a chicken product, it would be any more constituted of actual animals than the brown sludge they currently serve.

Kfc gravy is a beatiful product. It's mostly lard with some beef boullion added for flavor (but mostly color)..why are you such a hater, Biker....?

I've been to hazmat sites that had better looking glop than KFC "gravy". Of course, that "gravy" doesn't burn your eyes or require a respirator...but I wouldn't eat that, either. My wife loves the KFC stuff, but won't even make gravy at home.

1/2 crisco.
1/4chicken broth
1/4 beef both
salt,pepper, parsley to taste.
Shit will -kill- at thanksgiving.

Colonel Sanders was a very interesting man.
I'd love to taste what the original KFC was like, before he sold it to investors.
I'm sure it's not healthy, but I find KFC to be far superior in taste to any other fast food outlet.
I love their gravy and it's easily replicated by adding a good amount of ground pepper to a normal beef gravy.
