Gawd, there were a bunch of new live shows added a few months ago. It’s mostky rehashed episode skits, though, so no biggie.

Roku/FireStick/WhatThing people, what's good?

We really enjoyed them.
Recently, we were able to go to a showing of Monty Python with a talk by John Cleese afterward. One of the highlights of my life. RE: Roku/FireStick/WhatThing people, what's good?

It pretty much completely replaces a shitty smart TV's interface. One remote, that's what does it for me. "Alexa, change to HDMI 4", "Alexa, turn off the TV." To be perfectly honest, I have an Android TV as my main TV, and I bought a cheap Vizio 4k for the living room, and I ended up using it more than my good TV. The Vizio interface is hot garbage, so I bought a fire cube on Black Friday. I never had a stick, so I don't know all of the differences, but the Fire Cube made my TV infinitely more usable.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

We've decided to go with the Firestick because we're into Prime already and a common interface on both TVs is a goodness.

-okay...so...all of these things are scams, y'all realize? They're just accessories that exist to sell you subs....it's a purse for a tv that comes with affiliate marketing.
The most universal is chromecast. Theres nothing that any of the others can do that chromecast can't.....but you should just buy a TV with native dual channel and menu options.

WHOA! We have to pay for things others create?
I've been largely unimpressed with Chromecast. The content question aside, the implementation sucks. Casting shit always comes with problems, and I don't think it's the content, it's the Chromecast software itself. I have all sorts of issues watching things with my Chromecast. Considerably less issues with other streaming media products and technology, mainly problems with the DVR function with Playstation VUE. So, you're welcome to your opinion, but clearly, YMMV!
