It works for every country. Plus as Aliza is a yank, if she can prove that her dad's uncle's college roommate's wife's best friend's husband's neighbour's nephew once owned a red setter she's in.

I met an ex American today whose moved to the UK.
Apparently America sucks and is a much more expensive place to live. The reason, in the US they charge YOU for things that are paid for by taxation here.
Turns out taxing is a better way to fund things.

Taxation is fine as long as it comes with representation.

.... Currently the population is not being represented with the all gerrymandering they've got set up. Dodgy

Taxes should also be across the board. There shouldn't be people and companies who are exempt; not rich people and not poor people. Everyone needs to pay their taxes if they like things like hospitals, emergency services, a military, and national parks and stuff. The problem with America is that we're turning ourselves back into an Imperial system with the oppressive class structure that we fought to break away from.

Sounds like George Orwell's Animal Farm. And that was written as a satire on Stalin.

And who are the people doing that turning? The very people who benefit from not doing so. I was poor as a kid, and my dad was dead-set against any sort of charity, in spite of the fact that our family would have had more food without having to dive into a dumpster behind the grocery store. Of course, there wasn't a whole lot of charity in the form of food banks (that I know of) in the '50s and '60s.

When Stalin creates an alternative fact, he actually bothers, and have minions competent enough, to airbrush the real facts out of photographs.

We are like animal farm, but with much dumber and less competent Napoleon strutting before suitably dumber animals.
