Timothy Treadwell... Now THERE'S an "expert" on brown bears...
He told us how peaceful and loving brown bears are - and used to climb in their hibernation dens and sing to them. Then, he met a bear that was hungry....... Whatta schmuck.
I think that may be the trouble - the name. We call them 'grizzly bears' and not 'thousand pound bear-shaped killing machines'.

We have a big cat rescue right outside the town where I live. Right now there are 75 residents. It’s a pretty cool place.
The warning they give is if a cat backs up to the fence move to the side so you don’t get peed on. I suppose worse things could happen. Little fear of animals in me. Being raised by a large animal vet may have made it so I learned early not to be scared but to show respect and be alert.
