To assume that the United States is the only country to deserve to be considered part of America is like assuming that only Saudis count as Arabs (after all, they're the only nation with Arabia in their name).

Also, you said your name was " as racist as a saturday morning cartoon was." That may be part of why such racism isn't in cartoons anymore, and even if Saturday Morning Cartoons were still a thing anymore, they still wouldn't do it.

don't be stupid rev...

Did canada march their natives on a 2500 mile trail of tears? where 3/4 of them died? did mexico give infected blankets to their native population held in concentration camps? NO! the moniker of Native AMerican or Native united states-en commands far more respect and demands to be heard well before any native mexican who's blood line has been intact for 10000 years. or any native canadian who still live how they choose to on family lands!

That is the reason this faker pretended to be a "real native american/from the USA because that title demands far more respect than someone who's people has suffered nothing. he knows it why else not show his true color as a native canadian?!?

Again all part of th reason I chose to mock this individual as he is not what he claims. no different than elizabeth warren pretending to be native american and have been given the name pocahontas as she is less than 1:1000 native american. She is tenured at HARVARD LAW AS A NATIVE AMERICAN!

now i guess you/your peers have no issue allowing random canadians to also call themselves native americans! Because clearly it is more wrong to mock someone trying to steal the honor and glory we bestow on our tribes for the crimes our grandfathers purpertaited, and also this man was caught stealing glory from deployed vietnam vets as well, but to you and your peers I'm the bad guy for calling him out??? He is a pretender a faker an elizibeth warren using a lie to gain tenure at harvard law she would not other wise qualify for when she was accepted.

To me you people are guilty of allow dishonorable men like this be honored with their stolen glory when they are not obliterated by the masses but protected wile innocent people like the kid in the story gets death threats!

Should we just call Tizh to educate you on everything wrong with that you said?

Also, just so we're clear, Nathan Phillips was in fact born into the Omaha nation. It was Gary Farmer, who appeared in my "stupid fucking white man" clip who was from Canada.

Why would we call natives from up north anything other than Native American? You do realize that when the "white man" came here and took over, there was no USA or Canada, right? I mean, how fucking stupid are you?

The DNA evidence says she does have Native American ancestry.

Yes, Drich, Canada did terrible things to native americans in canadia.

No, Drich, your wingnut welfare circuit story about warren isn't even remotely true.

What honor and glory is bestowed on the natives..anywhere.....for crimes our grandfathers committed? WTF are you even talking about?

Those kids were being douche-bags and so were those black Israelis. The Native America fella was just trying to calm everyone down by doing a prayer chant. A normal person that doesn't want to start any fights would have simply gotten away from the situation.

There are no natives - anywhere.

Everyone - except a few folks possibly living in the Great Rift Valley - is decsended from an ancestor that came from somewhere else.

By declaring onself " native" - a person is picking a point in history as their origin - and ignoring the otherwise present fact ---- their ancestor was an immigrant.

Well, technically, the preferred nomenclature in Canada is First Nations. But given that they’re in much the same category as their US brethren, there isn’t too much reason to keep them so thoroughly separate as Drich says.

Hell, the first major atrocities against Native Americans (with Columbus and the Taino) happened in the Modern day Dominican Republic/Haiti.

Then canada...then the us.  We were a century or more late to the party...but we made up with gusto what we lacked in punctuality.

The rise and fall of the Iron Confederacy was a pan north american endeavour that linked canada and the us and the natives in the demise of pre columbian civilization across the span of time covering the early fur trade to the 1850's.

did canada march there natives on a 2500 mile 'trail of tears? did canada hand out small pox infested blankets? did abraham lincoln order the largest mass execution in history of native canadians? did native canadians have all their lands stripped away? (no many tribes are selling out now to the oil companies and the government actually want's a piece of it) did canada or mexico ever went on a nazi type ethnic cleansing of the indigenous people? Do we call mexican native americans? Do they self identify as native americans, do canadian indigenous self identify as native americans or indians??? That sweet heart is the reason if no other reason existed. Because they don't see themselves as apart of US indian culture!

Answers and reasons why
1) no only the us rounded up various tribes and place them in concentration camps/jewish style ghettos to starve and cause disease them out. Some had to walk hundreds if not thousands of miles to the internment areas.
2) in the cold month infected blankets were issued to kill off as many as possible.
3) lincoln was not  fan of the native american and supported the efforts for their eradication. between his policies and establishment of the corrupt indian affairs department of the government, he broke the back/will of our native people.
https://washingtonmonthly.com/magazine/j...americans/
4) the indian affairs department was incharge of slowly and systematically take portions of land from the indians via treaties and push them further and further back till it was decided to put them in internment camps to die out or convert to civilized living.
5)we do not call native mexicans native americans. mexico is an example if whites simply were assimilated into the indigenous population, the us would be populated with english speaking tribes much like northern canada.
6)Canadian indians do not self identify as native americans as a whole they are known as 'the people" or in their collective agree terminology "Inuits" and Métis "the first people." "Indian" is the common name they choose to share with the people in the us and mexico.

And again if they see them selves as being different then who the F do you think you are to homogenize them for the sake of a stupid argument?

what kills me is you all get so offended by words you don't understand in defense of people you know little to nothing about just because how it sounds to you!

maybe rather than judging racism on what you think sounds racist... maybe look up and see what people of said race think about what is said.

Unlike 'black americans' Indians embrace their whole past even the bits where they where viewed as speaking broken english. Most people I know would say we may have sounded that way, but non of us talk that way now, and if one did and he took offense the whole 'tribe/community' would not be obligated to also be offended! If you wanted to talk in broken english and on guy took offense you'd better be bigger than him. Even with terms like redskins (team name) most (unless gentrified) most indians use the terms 'skins' to describe themselves. some would take offense if a white called them that others would not. it's not like american indians feels as if they must be a united front one every topic on a national scale, you would find most to be individuals who can think one on one and un like you are all locked into group think where one person says something is racist and all must proceed as of it were.

We had an indian family live a few streets over and LOVED!!! playing cowboys and indians with him.. While My skin was closer to his we were often the indians and his grand father made us all kinds of little feather trinkets to wear and play with, and no one ever had a cross word or evil thing to say about either people we watch the bugs bunny cartoons you all are so insane over and his family thought they were funny. to me there were no different than the mexican kids we played with at my g-pas house. they ate funny food smell funny but everyone knew how to go out into the woods and have a good time.

That's why I get pissed off when someone like you who is supposely trying to do a good thing, doesn't even know anything on how the culture works. when you compare the works history and deeds of one people and put them onto another, that can be considered one of the few collective group think/hate things you will find in said culture. a honor seeking lacota does not want to be judged as a human flesh eating crow. like wise a hunter fishermen eskimo does not want to be lumped in with raise childern as cows and eat them aztec

So again why do we not call everyone by the same name? because they themselves do not want that. even with in the US many people despise being call native americans. they want to be seen as being from this tribe or that one. to them it is more offensive to call them a native american than any 1940 saturday morning joke could ever be!
