Unless it falls under section 31. If they're going to do that, then they can break canon all they want, and it still won't break canon lol.

Not directly, no.

But it has been speculated that the character "Trelane", I think it was, was a member of the Q.

I don't like the procedural stuff. I don't think I've ever seen DS9, so I'm not sure it's as procedural/less serial than TNG or TOS, but if it is, I wouldn't be into it as much.

There are arcs in DS9. It came at the same period when shows with story arcs were first being made*, but it was still largely episodic.

*I would say, outside soaps, Babylon 5 was the first main TV show to have an arc or series of related arcs as its narrative core.

Doesn't wash Trelane had a mammy and a daddy. Outside of Amanda Q, Q's don't.

In Voyager, Q had a child. He wanted to have one with Janeway, but she refused.

Quote:I saw the first two episodes.. like the idea of pike as captain, can't get over spock having a step sister that is never ever mentioned. at least the idea of syboc was mentioned in the original series. Now there is no brother bt we do have a sister?
Too be fair no liked syboc and he was only mentioned in movie cannon which is dodgy when contrasted with the TV show .

But last I checked that wasn't standard practice for the Q

Though never mentioned in TOS later treks mention him being around in that time

I also point out with all the weird god like entities around in that time maybe he didn't stand out as much . Or maybe Q erased humanities memory of him .

No never happened. I took too many years bleaching the q and the grey out of my mind for it to have happened.

Also they let Neelix be killed by the Kazon in the pilot.

They get their arses kicked by the "Klingons" and then have the brilliant idea to beam a torpedo warhead onto a dead "Klingon" being tractored aboard the enemy ship.

Good so far.

The torpedo goes off disabling the "klingon" ship.

Good.

Then they beam the Captain and the 1st officer aboard the enemy ship. Not an assault team: The most experienced and high ranking officers on their ship.

Then they beam the survivor back and abandon ship. They don't beam more warheads aboard the one remaining enemy shipband finish it off...
