Let's just say there were many guns, drugs, and crazy situations I should've never gotten myself into. I was a bit of a wild card. That being said I'm not involved in any of that shit anymore. I make a legitimate living and don't hang out with anyone who does otherwise; that type of lifestyle is just never worth the trouble.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

And for all I know you could be a cop lol lol I guess. One story I can tell because the guy is currently in prison and I had nothing to do with this situation. Buddy of mine one night went to rob a heroin dealer who was selling dope to his little sister. Dealer tried to be a tough guy and fight back against my buddy. My buddy shot him and took all of the money and drugs anyway. Got almost 100 thousand in cash (USD) and almost 2 pounds of uncut heroin (street value is roughly 60 thousand USD depending on how its sold). The dealer ended up dying in the hospital within the next couple of days and my friend was charged with murder a few months later after an extensive investigation. Think they got him through phone records or maybe someone cooperated with police I really don't know. My friend eventually pled to involuntary manslaughter and got sentenced to I believe 9 years. He would be out by now but got into more trouble in prison - I'm not sure what for. Glad I never got into the car that night. So yea, your normal friday night hijinks I guess lol

I guess I'm a humourless old fart.
Have never pulled pranks or practical jokes. I think they are an especially nasty form of passive aggression. However ,I have had some pretty creative ones pulled on me: That time some wit took a syringe ,filled it with chilli oil and injected my sandwich. That made my eyes water. Then there was the time I came to work to find my desk and everything on it had been gift wrapped. The MOST inventive; At one time I used a fountain pen, which I would refill from a jar of ink on my desk. Every day, after I had filled my pen, while I was out of the main office, our witty one replaced exactly that amount of ink with water. Over several days, my ink got lighter and lighter. Took me a week to notice. There were others, but not played on me. I still think practical jokes/pranks are mean spirited and passive aggressive. I get no pleasure out of seeing others embarrassed or humiliated. That's why I never watch any kind of the oxymoronic 'reality TV'. OH, there is a happy ending; our wit tried a prank on the wrong person, who complained. Our wit spent some fairly uncomfortable time with the harassment officer. I think some pranks do go too far, don't get me wrong, but so long as a prank is playful, fun and causes no actual harm, I don't see anything wrong with it. People who can't deal with a little bit of embarrassment/poking fun are usually just thin-skinned and not very enjoyable to be around. What kind of asshole goes to HR for a prank? I don't want to spend time around anyone who I have to walk on eggshells around; life's too short for that shit. Some people just take themselves WAY too seriously. I can't even hang out with people who aren't funny or don't at least have some sense of humor. There's certainly a difference between light-hearted fun and mean-spirited jokes/sarcasm, but to be fair thin-skinned people usually can't tell the difference anyway.

Grow old is not a choice, growing up, is.
I think the worst prank I did was light a few firecrackers right near the house of an old man. That was back when I was a teenage kid.
Some pranks are hilarious and generally harmless, but sometimes the line between pranking and bullying can be quite fuzzy. Just make sure the person you're pranking doesn't have severe anxiety issues and such. And definitely don't make your 90-year-old grandma watch a jump-scare clip ... |
